10-min video introduction to privilege using the coin model

This is a ‘talking head’ video in which Stephanie offers a way of understanding an anti-oppression power analysis. The first 7 minutes unpack the idea of privilege, and the last 3 minutes (starting at 07:15) unpack the idea of “allyship” and how it relates to privilege. This video is sometimes used as pre-work before anti-oppression workshops, where learners are invited to consider the question: “What are you curious about after watching this video?”
